We really LOVE our new house and neighborhood!

So we really love our new house and neighborhood! The ward is great as well! Linus seems to be coming out of his shell a little more. He has been making new friends and he also took swim lessons this summer and is now a little fish (a far cry from his first swim lesson). We really feel like this was where we suppose to move, and we have felt very welcome! We have been here less than 2 months and I feel like I already know so many people. The pool has been so great to meet new friends! We are surrounded by kids our kids age and it is so fun to watch Linus playing in the neighborhood with other kids! We feel like we can let them in the back yard to play with no worries of them getting run over in the alley.
So here are a few pics. not very many, just what I had in my computer. If anyone ever wants to come swim call me up!

Here is our house!

Here is one of part of the kitchen, it was Linus' b-day.

The double stairs sold us, and the boys love to run around it and play tag.

We LOVE the pool!

Roman's room.

This is Linus' room. Roman will join him when he is a "big boy." For some reason they want to share a room.

Oh helloooo!

Well hello, sorry I have been such a blog slacker. I am lame like that. So here is an update on us.

I have been doing much better with my depression, migraines are another story.
Danny got a promotion at work and is really liking it!
Linus has been doing much better with his sensory issues, we take one day at a time.
Roman is our little family clown and he is always laughing and making us laugh.

We have also decided to move. We felt like it was a good time and the right thing to do. We are not moving far, probably less than a mile away. We are going to rent out our house we live in now. Everything has fallen into place and we feel like this is what we are suppose to do. We originally wanted to move back to Saratoga Springs but for some reason we kept ending up in the same neighborhood. So we feel like we are suppose to be there. It is very bitter sweet since we will miss going to church with our friends. We are glad they will still be close. Linus is excited to move because the neighborhood has a pool! We close on our new house on June 10. If I feel like it I might post a pic.

I also wanted to thank all of you for supporting me while I was having a complete mental breakdown. I am sure it won't be the last time, and that is why depression is so ugly. I have really appreciated all your notes and e-mails with support. I am lucky to have such great friends and family!

My battle with depression

So many of you in my "inner circle" know that I struggle with depression. It is hard to define what depression is for some. I know for some it is simply that they just don't know what to make dinner, or they don't have a car for the day. For me though it is this knot in my stomach that won't go away, this feeling that something is so wrong when in fact it is not, and in my head I know there is nothing wrong but I can't make that wrong feeling go away. I feel like I can't do the things like make dinner, go outside and play with my kids. I have guilt for things that I have no control over, just irrational thoughts that I know they are irrational but for some reason I can't make them go away and I just cry because I can't make it go away.

I feel like no one understands and then I get criticized by people in my "inner circle" behind my back for taking medication in the first place, or that depression is "not real" "it is all in my head." I just need support right now and not criticism from something you know very little about. For this purpose I felt like I should share my battle with the mean beast that is depression.

I first started taking medication for it when I was 15. Clinical depression usually will first manifest itself when you are going through puberty, have a life altering event, or after child birth (ppd). So in my case it first came on during puberty and later got worse after child birth. I am not saying this happens to everyone during these events, I am saying people who are going to be prone to clinical depression or what may also be known as a chemical imbalance will have it manifest itself at these points in life. In my particular case it seems to be hereditary.

When I was first married I went off my medications. I was feeling like maybe it was all in my head and I did not need a pill to make me happy, and that maybe through faith and prayer I could do it with no medication. This resulted in a nervous break down and an emergency trip to the BYU health center and my poor husband missing that day of school.

The next Sunday was fast Sunday and a sweet woman in my ward got up and stood there shaking like a leaf and shared her testimony. She shared her story of depression and how she herself battled if she should take medication or not. She realized that the Lord had blessed her with wise doctors who had been given the knowledge of science and medications that can help her to get better. That this was the Lord helping her, that her faith and prayers were being answered. I knew that she was meant to share this message for me and that I too had the answer right in front of me.

Now for finding the right medication... Prozac has always worked great for me until I had babies. Post pardum depression came and it seems to no longer work. Since then it has been a battle trying to find the right one for me. As of now I finally decided to go to a Psychiatrist. I thought he can help me better than a family doctor. So far I am weening on to a new medication and the doctor said it will take a good 2 months before it works all the way, and I may feel worse before I feel better. He is very right, I feel like I am on an emotional roller coaster and things are very hard right now.

I know things will get better and I have the most amazing most supportive husband in the whole wide world! He has been my rock! He has always been so supportive in all my decisions and has never given me grieve about taking medications.

I just want people to know that depression is a real thing. It is not some imaginary thing in our heads. It is a chemical imbalance that needs attention and medication just like somebody needs medication for heart problems. It is not something to be ashamed of. Most of us get is from genetics and we can not help it. It is not right for people to judge us for taking medication and getting help. In fact it takes a lot more guts for us to get help. For someone to say it is bad for me to take medication for my depression would be like me saying it is bad for a person to take drugs for infertility. Why would I not take it if it is going to help me? I would hope that if any of you were in my shoes, you would get help.

Linus in his suit and tie!

Look how handsome Linus is! Our neighbor gave us this suit for Linus about a year ago and it finally fits him! I also made him his tie. I told him I was going to make him a tie and he said,"I want a lellow (yellow) one!" So lellow it is! He was very confident going to primary and there was no fuss, I think he was just excited to show his good looks off to his girlfriend Foph (Sophie)!

He is like a mini "Edward!" Ha ha! He was so funny! He kept on looking at himself in the mirror and smiling!

Linus knew he looked handsome!

What we have been up too...

Here is a bunch of random pictures! Sorry I have been such a blog slacker:(

My baby turned 1!!!

My little Roman has turned ONE!!! He had a hard start with having colic as a new baby. Now he has grown into such a fun happy little baby! We just love him! He is such a joy and has such a fun personality!

I loved this one of Roman and his brother! This is just how they are.

Roman collecting all his loot!

Roman loves his Uncles and Aunts!

We had a party with family, complete with balloon animals. My brother in law, sister and I all make them. I think Linus felt cheated that he was just finding out that mom could make balloon animals.

Roman thought we were all nuts singing to him.

Roman loved his cake! I am not sure how much got into his mouth.

The Secret Life of The American Teenager....

Or what I like to call it.."The "secret" Life of the American slutty Teenagers and their Parents"
I hope you READ THIS because it took me FOREVER to write it!!!

Do any of you watch this show??? It is on ABC family. ABC family really? A family show? Not hardly, this has got to be THE WORST show on TV. At the end of each show it always has a cast member urging parents to have the sex talk to their kids. Is that the purpose of the show? I am not exactly what good point the show is trying to make, but having it aired on "abc family" network, a network claiming to be family oriented one, I think it is was the worst possible show they could have picked.
I am pretty sure I lost count of the word "sex" being said after 90 in one episode. It is always sex sex sex... The morals of the show are the worst I have ever seen on TV. I kept watching the show because it was like a bad train wreck. So finally last week I decided to stop watching it and write this review. Why don't you meet the characters:

Meet "Amy" Daughter to George and Anne, sister to Ashley, girlfriend to Ben, Mother to Jon(not pictured). So Amy is a 15 year old baby mama. She was a virgin until she met Ricky at band camp and he talked her into having sex. She then got pregnant and for awhile there she was going to give the baby up for adoption (or I like to say "give the baby more") but then at the last minute she changed her mind.
Amy is the most moody selfish teenager you will ever meet. She expects everyone to drop everything and do what she wants when she wants. She is an all out beotch to her boyfriend Ben and to her friends. You would think that as a teenage mom she would have done a lot of growing up, but she has not. Everyone seems to be judging Ricky (the dad) as the bad parent, but really Amy seems to have her head on crooked. However as you see more about the adults below, they really don't have anyone to look up to.

Meet "Ricky" Father to Jon (not pictured). Ricky is a foster child who eventually gets his own place, so he lives alone. Ricky was a sexually abused child and has grown up to be a man whore because he does not know how to deal with it. So one night at band camp (no pun) he manages to talk sweet little virgin Amy into having sex with him, it honestly seems more like date rape to me, but whatever. Now he is a baby dada. Ricky has actually come through as a dad but he is still a kid and he tries to hard to be an adult, however he was forced to grow up too. He is a complicated guy with issues. He and Adrian have an ongoing sexathon thing going, but he will commit to no one. I think he secretly wants to be a family with Amy.

Meet "Anne" Mother to Amy and Ashley, wife to George. After she finds out George has cheated with Cindy (Adrian's mom) she goes and sleeps with an old high school fling, and then starts a relationship with some ugly guy named, David. David then supposedly gets her pregnant. Then we find out her husband never had that "snip snip" he said he had had 13 years ago and they slept together one wild night too. So no one really knows who the baby is.
When Amy tells her mom about being knocked up, her mom tells her that she was a teen mom herself. Funny Amy did not do the math in the first place.

Meet "George" Husband to Anne, Father to Amy and Ashley. He is a big dumb idiot really. He is the ex-husband of Kathleen, Grace's mom. He has got a 15 year old knocked up daughter and then he is cheating on his wife with Adrian's mom Cindy. Later things end with Cindy he goes back to Anne. Then Anne has a baby that he can't tell if it is his or not. He finds an outlet in all the teenagers coming through his house by telling them his problems. They then tell everyone else. He is not so smart.

Meet "Ashley" Daughter to George and Anne, sister to Amy. I like Ashley! Just about the only reasonable person on this show. She is only 14 and she sits back and looks at all these idiots rolling her eyes. My question is... I think the producers of this show need to be paying more attention to this character.

Meet "Ben" son of Mr. Boicowich aka The sausage king, and boyfriend to baby mama Amy. He is very spoiled and has had everything handed to him, as far as money. He is the only kid on the show NOT having sex and he is still a virgin, despite his girlfriend being the baby mama. Ben is very sweet but stupid as all get out. He tells Amy he loves her the day he meets her and from then on he is stuck being her beotch. He does anything and everything for Amy, but she treats him like crap. For some reason he thinks he is going to be a dad to her baby and they are going to get married and live happily ever after. Although we have just found out he has cheated, what that means by his standards, we don't know.

Meet "Adrian" she is the school skank, but who isn't really? She is Ricky's regular, she is in love with him, but Ricky is not in love with anyone. Daughter to Cindy and Ruben. She is the go to girl about sex, all the kids (and they are kids) go to her about sex advice as well as relationship advice. But what does she know about relationships? This is the girl who was having sex with her step brother Max, she had sex with Jack (Grace's boyfriend) when Grace was not putting out, and she is Ricky's pity sex girl. She also seems to think she knows who should be having sex and should not be having sex. Adrian is a master manipulator as well. She got her parent's to buy a house next to Amy's so she can spy on Ricky when he goes over to see his kid. She is pretty much crazy, but very smart.

Meet "Jack" Grace's boyfriend. At the start of the show we found out that Jack had cheated (had sex) on Grace with Adrian because Grace was holding out on him. After a few months Grace and him patched things up and things were going strong, they had sex, he cheated on her with Madison, Graces cheated on him with Jason. Now Jack is finding out about Grace cheating on him with.....HERSELF??? OH MY!

Meet "Grace" daughter of Kathleen, sister to Tom, and girlfriend to Jack. Grace is full of Christian pride and is always trying to do good. She really wants to abstain from sex but when her and Jack finally do the deed her dad dies that day. She thinks it is her fault and holds a big meeting to admit her misdoings. We have discovered that while at doctor camp she has cheated on Jack with Jason, and who knows what happened there. Grace also has a short history with the baby daddy Ricky. Recently Grace's mother told her all about the "M" word and now Grace thinks she can go with out boys and sex forever!

Meet "Kathleen" mother to Grace and Tom. Very Christian and recently widowed she does not believe in sex before marriage. We did find out that she is the ex- wife of George (Amy's dad) and that she cheated on him, but she is all Christian now. She has lead a very strait life with her husband. Now that he has died, she has a new boyfriend, and they love to have sex! Her best advice to Grace would be that she does not want her having sex, but if she just can't go without it, than she would like her to pleasure herself (I can't say the "M" word). Isn't she a good mom?

Meet "Tom" he is Grace's brother. Tom is protective about his sister having sex. However he is very curious himself, and he even knows quite a bit about it. He is wanting to have sex with his girlfriend (not pictured) too, but no one will leave them alone long enough to. At one point he hired the town hooker (Betty). His all Christian mother, Kathleen is just too busy to even notice.

Meet " Henry" he is Alice's boyfriend and Ben's best friend. He is down with sex!

Meet "Alice" she is Henry's girlfriend and she is all about sex.

Mett "Griffen" he is Ashley's bestest friend. He also happens to be gay (not that there is anything wrong). They had to have a gay character so they did not leave anyone out. He also likes to have sex, and he talks about that too, so this introduces a new prospective on the whole "S" word to all the young families out there watching the family channel!

Meet "Mr. Boykowich a.k.a. The sausage King" He is Ben's dad! He is very supportive of his son having a knocked up girlfriend (not to mention that it is not his), and now she has a baby so now I should say he does not mind that his son's girlfriend has a baby. He loves talking to his son about sex, in fact he even likes to come into his son's room in the night to borrow some condoms.

Meet "Betty" she is Ben's Dad's new fiance, who just so happened to be a hooker, the hooker that Grace's brother (who is Down syndrome) Tom used to call up. They never did anything, but Betty was willing too. She also likes to give all the young kids sex tips.

Meet "Jason" Lauren's big brother and also Madison's boyfriend at one point. We just learned that he and Grace were doing some smooching over the summer while they were away at doctor camp. Even though he was with Madison at the time and Grace was with Jack. Oh SCANDAL!!!

Meet "Madison" one of Amy's bff's! She is so supportive. She told the whole school about her best friends dirty deeds! But this girl wants to loose her virginity so bad she is about to give it to anyone. We are yet to find out exactly what happened with her and Jack (Grace's Jack) over the summer while Grace was away, but it is looking like things were pretty dirty. The plot thickens...

Meet "Lauren" the other of Amy's bff's she is very supportive of her friend getting knocked up by the school's player. She even was there for the school player when he needed some kissing. She is a good friend.

Meet "Dr. Ken" he is Lauren's dad, and also Ricky's therapist. He is so smart to advise Ricky to be having sex for love and not for sex. Not to mention that Ricky is 15!

Meet "Cindy" Adrian's mom. She is not home long enough to take care of her daughter. She is home long enough to sleep with George, Amy's married dad and a few other dudes as well as shack back up with Adrian's dad. But Ruben and Cindy have bought a house together now right next door to the mother of Adrian's boyfriend's child just so she can spy on her, and him too. So they are really working on their relationship.

Meet "Ruben" he is Adrian's dad, who decided to pop back into her and her mom's like after abandoning them when Adrian was 2. He does not like her having sex, but he would rather she do it at home and with condoms than somewhere else.

Meet "David" this is the guy that Amy's mom Anne decides to sleep with as revenge for her husband sleeping with Adrian's mom. Now we will never know who that little baby belongs too...

Meet "Max" this here is Ruben (Adrian's Dad) step son. So this would make him and Adrian step brother and sister. They had just met and Adrian and Max were having sex. Wow! YIKES!

So they made this show to help support teen mothers? Or to support parents of teen mothers? What point are they making again? You see my point?
Anyways like I sad it was like a bad train wreck.
