Sesame Street!

Yesterday Linus and I got to go to Sesame Street! Those of you who know Linus know that he LOVES Sesame Street, you might say he is OBSESSED. He will sit there the whole entire hour glued to the T.V. Anyways we went with Linus' play group to the Children's Museum in Salt Lake and right now they have a special Sesame Street exhibit that is here until May 4th. So I just had to take Linus, and he LOVED it! He was so excited he kept on looking at me and screaming, he was so adorable, it just made my whole month to see him so happy!

We just had so much fun! We are going to have to go again before the exhibit is gone because Dad was not there and we want Dad to see how much fun Linus has there.

So here is the official celebrity look a like thing I did. I was only able to put 8 of the people it brought up out of the 10. So I really do not look like half these people, but I have to say Matt Damon does look like my long lost brother... It's funny even before I did this when Matt Damon first came out I had gotten that comment. Weird stuff! What do you think????

So I used the look a like meter on myheritage.com to see who Linus looks more like and here is the results. I used a few different photos of Linus and on one it swayed more to my side saying he looked more like me at only 28%, however on all the other photos we used it was split down the middle.

My Little Peanut!

It's the REAL Linus!
Yes, indeed it is true our little peanut 'Linus' has himself a 'security blanket' and not only does he have that, he has a 'Snoopy' stuffed toy as well. My mom got that Snoopy before Linus was born, and before she new what his name was, so it is not like we are planting this stuff in his hands.So anyways Linus really is in love with his blanket. He takes it EVERYWHERE! And he freaks out if he does not have it, for example he will not take a nap without it. This makes things hard when mom needs to wash it! So I decided to go bye him an identical one for such situations. BAD NEWS! This blanket is part of the Amy Coe "Limited edition" series from Target. So I go to Target looked for another and they no longer have the coveted blanket, so I look EVERYWHERE online and NOWHERE has it! So that royally sucks! I just pray this blanket NEVER gets lost (just like it did on 'A Boy Named Charlie Brown' poor Linus was all out of sorts). I was able to find an Amy Coe blanket that is the same only BLUE with lions on it, same blanket however it is not the green one with the elephants. It has not arrived in the mail yet so we will see how he likes it. I am hoping he will like it though because this blanket business is bad news when I need to wash it, which is like all the time!

We will miss you!

WE THANK THEE OH GOD FOR OUR PROPHET!Well we here at the Harker home are very saddened over the death of our beloved prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. He became the prophet when I was in the 5 th grade, making me only 11 years old, so I have grown up with him. I will miss him so much but I know he is in a better place and he is with his sweet sweet wife. I am so grateful for the gospel and for all the great work Pres. Hinckley has done during his time as Pres. what an amazing man! We Love You Pres. Hinckley and we will miss you!
