Mommy's peppermint!
So I just thought I would inform those of you who don't know that I am pregnant! My friend Jeana who is pregnant too made a good point on her blog, she said she would be embarrassed if no one knew and then saw her and just thought she was fat. So since I am starting to show (much sooner than with baby #1) I thought I would share the good news.

My top 25 albums!

So these are my top 25 favorite albums. I mixed them all up because I could not put them in any order since I love them all, I never get sick of listening to any of them.
One of my hobbies is making cd's for people. I love to introduce people to great music.
I want you to tell me some of your favorite albums, and on Saturday I will choose one of you randomly and you will get a cd full of all my favorite songs off of these albums. I will even mail it to you if you are far away.
1. Depeche Mode- Violator. One of my first albums.
2. Pinback- Offcell. These guys have a great sound.
3. Sigur Ros- Takk. I like to explain this album as an experience.
4. The Clash- The Story of The Clash. Classic.
5. Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova-Once Soundtrack. These two are quite possibly the best male/female duo.

6. Bjork- Vespertine. This is the most beautiful album ever.
7. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds- Live. Not the hugest Dave fan but him with Tim Reynolds is amazing.
8. Nine Inch Nails- Pretty Hate Machine. Probably the least sinister of the NIN albums and all the songs are great.
9. Le Tigre- The Island. Fun album.
10. Radiohead- Amnesiac. I had a hard time choosing my favorite Radiohead.
11. Imogene Heap- Speak For Yourself. Her voice is amazing.
12. Erasure- Erasure. By far their most experimental album, and it works.
13. Danny Elfman- Edward Scissorhands Soundtrack. I love Danny Elfman and I think this is his best work.
14. No Doubt- the Beacon Street Collection. This is their second album and I love how it is more ska than any of the others.
15. Sting- Fields of Gold. Classic songs.

16. Rufus Wainwright- Poses. This album is so great and Rufus has the best voice.
17. U2- War. First album ever! This is the one that started it all, it is most likely in my top 2.
18. Muse- Black Holes and Revelation. This album Rocks!
19. Death Cab for Cutie- Transatlantism. Had a hard deciding my favorite DCFC album but this one has a lot of favorites.
20. Tori Amos- Little Earthquakes. Another one of my first albums, classic and so amazing.
21. Oingo Boingo- Farewell Tour. Love love love it.
22. Fiona Apple- Tidal. This album is so open, Fiona really wears her heart on her sleeve.
23. Janusz Olejniczak playing Chopin- The Pianist Soundtrack. This is the BEST version of Chopin that I have heard.

24. The Con- Tegan and Sara. There best album, I listen to it all the time.
25. So Jealous- Tegan and Sara. This album has the BESTEST song on it EVER! So check out "Walking with a Ghost."

Canada Trip
I finally went to Canada and saw where Danny was born! He was born in Raymond, Alberta but lived in the itty bitty town of Stirling until he was 3 years old. Danny spend many many summer vacations up in Canada as well. He had not been since just after his mission so we finally made the 12 hour drive along with Danny's dad and brother Nick.
Linus did great in the car but once we got there her was a terror. He did not like being away from home. We had a good time though, we stayed with Danny's aunt Kathy in Stirling 2 days and then his Uncle Grant in Lethbridge for 2 days. They were all so kind to us and took good care of us!
Within the first hour there Danny got attacked by a bird (we will save that story for another post). Then next day we went to Waterton national park for a day and it was so beautiful! On the way there we witnessed a police chase, it was crazy! The next day we hung around in Lethbridge and shopped (we had to get lots of Eat mores) that was fun and we also played Frisbee golf too.
We had fun on our trip and it was fun for me to see where Danny was born. Alberta is sort of like Utah, full of L.D.S. members and a church every few blocks. I also learned the Canadians really do say,"eh" and they also eat carrots at every supper.
Here we are at the border.
Linus loved his 2nd cousin Melora, she was just his size. he walked right up to her and sat by her, it was so cute.
Us with Nick at Waterton.
Linus on the little beach in Waterton.
Danny and Linus throwing rocks while at Waterton, Linus was having lots of fun!
Us at Red Rock Canyon in Waterton.
Danny's dad Brent and I at the Red Rock canyon in Waterton.
These hay barrels are all over the place, even on the side of the highways.
This is a canola field, they are all over Alberta. They look so pretty, bright yellow amongst all the green.
Linus and his 2nd cousins Brinly and Ellie.

Finally here is Linus sleeping, he was so pooped he just fell asleep in the door way.

July 4th 2008.
Here are just some pictures from the 4th of July. We had fun with a BBQ at my brother Scott's house followed by some awesome fireworks. Linus was a little scared of the fireworks but then at one point he said,"Cool!"

Happy Canada Day!
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!
Danny was born in Canada, and his dad is from there so we celebrate Canada day. We had a Canada day parade in Saratoga Springs with about 50 other people from Canada. We were suppose to wear red but neither of us have any red so in the spirit of Tegan and Sara (who are from Canada) I wore my home made T&S t-shirt!
Here we are on some guys truck in the parade.
Brook Harker(Danny's big Bro.) always has to wear the Maple Leaf, he looked like he was pretty hot.
Linus and cousin Elijah waving their flags and throwing candy to the small crowd.

Squeaky shoes and giggles!
This is Linus and his cute little friend Sophie. Linus loves Sophie and they play so well together. So Linus and Sophie both got squeaky shoes and in the video below they are both laughing at each other while they squeak their shoes. They are so silly, they always crack each other up, it is so funny to watch!
